Rental
CUAG is periodically available for rental by civic and campus groups for a range of special events.
Events may be booked when the layout of exhibitions allows sufficient space.

Guidelines
Events ideally occur outside CUAG’s public hours (all day Monday; Tuesday-Sunday after 5:00 p.m.)
CUAG remains open throughout events that occur during its public hours.
Events may only take place on the lower level.
Capacity is 50 for seated events and 100 for standing events.
Catering must be carried by an approved Carleton University caterer. Options include Aramark and Bytown Catering.
CUAG must approve all menus in advance.
CUAG must approve the introduction and arrangement of any furniture in advance.
Furniture and technical support
Clients may use CUAG’s complimentary furniture: one podium, three rectangular (2.5’ x 6’) tables and fifty chairs. Any other furniture must be ordered from and delivered by Facilities Management and Planning and removed as soon as possible. Clients are responsible for setting up the furniture, under CUAG’s supervision.
CUAG does not have an in-house sound system or provide any A/V equipment or staff support. Clients make all A/V bookings with the Event Support team at Teaching and Learning Services, here.
Fees
Rental fee: $400
Staff costs: $40 each hour outside CUAG’s regular hours (all day Monday; Tuesday-Sunday after 5:00 p.m.)

Loading dock directions
Driving from Bronson Avenue
Drive straight. Enter the roundabout and exit out the back to cross the bridge over the O-train tracks. At the stop sign, turn left onto Campus Avenue.
Turn right on to Library Road. At the first opportunity, turn right onto an unnamed laneway that runs behind the student residence buildings (on your right) and parallel to the Rideau Canal (on your left).
Drive to the end of the laneway. The loading dock has a large brown elevated door. Phone us to come open the door.
Driving from Colonel By Drive
Immediately after entering the campus, turn left onto Library Road.
Drive ahead and down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto an unnamed laneway that runs behind the student residence buildings (on your right) and parallel to the Rideau Canal (on your left).
Drive to the end of the laneway. The loading dock has a large brown elevated door. Phone us to come open the door.
