Location and services
Here is some information about the gallery, the building in which it is located and the services we offer:
CUAG is located in the St. Patrick’s Building, at the north end of campus. Here is a guide to accessibility in the St. Patrick’s Building.
The closest bus stop is 6612; the next closest is 5813. The closest Para Transpo stop is 19 (Teraanga Commons), in front of the Teraanga Commons building on Campus Avenue.
Right now: A big construction project at the north end of campus has changed the usual access routes to CUAG. Check here for a route map.
CUAG is a barrier-free space, on two levels. An elevator in the building lobby enables you to access both floors. There are automatic entrance doors on both levels. Service animals are welcome.
Two washrooms are located in the building lobby, on the tunnel level: an all-persons washroom and a women’s washroom. These washrooms have automated doors and are useable, if not fully accessible. There is a useable men’s washroom on the third floor; it does not have an automated door.
While you are visiting the gallery, magnifying glasses, lightweight seats and a wheelchair are available for you to borrow. Please ask one of our friendly front desk monitors for assistance.
ASL interpretation is available at our exhibition openings. To request ASL interpretation at another event, please email Fiona Wright at least ten days in advance.
Live captioning is available for our virtual events.
We are working to add alt-text descriptions to the photos on this website, so that it will meet WCAG (web content accessibility guidelines) 2.0 Level AA standards, as per the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act).
Feedback
We are actively working on improving our accessibility information. Please let us know if you have any feedback. Talk to a CUAG staff member, call (613) 520-2120 or email Fiona Wright.
