Smell, touch and taste tea in this workshop!

Learn about how herbal teas are grown and made with Algonquin tea sommelier and farmer Kayoki Post-Whiteduck. Kayoki will be sharing his knowledge and philosophy of growing herbs and native species. 

This event is free and open to everyone. Light refreshments included.

Access Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (CDCC) is a fully accessible space, with an elevator and barrier-free washrooms. The Para Transpo drop-off and an entrance with ramps are located on the 290 Lisgar Street side of the building.  

Parking Paid visitor parking is available in the CDCC’s Lisgar Street lot. There is also street parking available nearby.

Kayoki Post-Whiteduck (Algonquin Anishinaabe) is the founder of Mitigomin Agriculture, which produces 30+ kinds of herbal teas through Kayo-Tea. He has studied in horticulture, herbology and as a tea sommelier. Kayoki has worked many jobs in his field, such as tree planter, seed collector, brush cutter, landscaper, nursery plant worker and fruit picker and now runs his own farm.
