This catalogue documents Jocelyne Alloucherie’s extraordinary 2010 CUAG exhibition, which featured three major works – Land of Snow, Land of Mist, and Land of Blood.
Comprised of enigmatic landscape photographs and accompanying abstract sculptural elements, Alloucherie’s work evokes, as she has said, “a space between the immediacy of physical experience and the memory of one or many elsewheres.”
This book won a design award for Kelsey Blackwell and a writing award (short essay category) for Diana Nemiroff at the Ontario Association of Art Galleries Awards in Toronto in 2013.
