Celebrate a sparkly new art installation at the Ottawa Trans Library!
CUAG, The Ottawa Trans Library (OTL) and the participating artists and facilitators of Camp Crystal invite you to celebrate the unveiling of Cloudburst a dazzling art installation for the OTL’s street-facing window.
This summer, Camp Crystal saw local creatives come together to learn stained glass and ceramics. Their collaborative sculptural work for the OTL incorporates and is inspired by Bill Staubi’s generous donation of chandelier crystals.
Join us as we gather at the OTL and Somerset Square Park (across the street) to share a snack and ✨reflect ✨.
This event is free and everyone is welcome.
Access: The Ottawa Trans Library has three steps which lead into the library. There is a stop gap system to assist chair users, the width of the door is 34″. The OTL has a bathroom but it is an older design that has not been retrofitted to current access standards. The artwork installation is visible from the street level and access to the OTL is not a requirement for this event. The park across the street will be the primary location for socializing.
