Host

China Doll, the gender-bending alter ego of Ed Kwan, came to local fame through Shanghai Restaurant, her family’s restaurant, building herself a platform and fame through a now-longstanding karaoke night at Shanghai. Broadening access to drag in Ottawa and weaving humour into her appearance and performance, China Doll is the queen of the Shanghai kingdom.
