We wish it was a joke!
After more than 27 years of dedicated service to the Carleton University and Ottawa-Gatineau communities, Sandra Dyck has retired from the University and is moving to beautiful BC.
Please join us for a farewell gathering filled with good cheer, stories and well wishes. The party will feature light refreshments, a cash bar and tunes by dj oh jay.
We have invited six members of the CUAG family to speak at the party. Three speakers will offer remarks at 4:45 and three will speak at 6:00 p.m. The speakers are Pauline Rankin, Joe Friday, Kwende Kefentse, Alexandra Kahsenni:io Nahwegahbow, Reesa Greenberg and Cara Tierney.
Well wishes book Would you like to share a note or write a memory of Sandra? We will have a guest book available. Visit the Office of the Dean of FASS (330 Paterson Hall) until Friday, 28 March to sign it. It will also be at CUAG for the farewell party.
Access CUAG is an accessible space with barrier-free washrooms and an elevator.
Construction A big construction project at the north of campus has changed the usual access routes to CUAG. Check the visiting page of this website for access details.
Parking
If you’re arriving before 5:00 p.m. Park in Lot P7D. It is a big gravel lot. It is a sub-section of and accessed from Lot P7, the huge, paved lot at the northeast corner of campus.
A “pay-by-plate” machine is located inside the parkade, at the closest (northeast) corner of the parkade. You can also pay online.
If you’re arriving after 5:00 p.m. Park in the P18 parkade, the big multi-level parkade built over the O-train tracks.
There are two pay-by-plate machines in the parkade: D1 on Level 1, in the southwest corner, and D2 on Level 2. in the southwest corner.
