Attention students!! Do you like art? Do you like friends? Yes?!
Art + Friends is back, to send us into the holidays and relieve the stress of final exams and essays!
Textile artist Saivani Sanassy will lead us in some art projects inspired by Faisa Omer’s use of fabrics and her exploration of self-expression, while art therapist Jennifer Lee will have some open-ended art-making prompts to encourage relaxation in this time of stress! And of course the hot drinks and good vibes are back.
We’ll have folks here who can offer you a tour if you’d like to explore the exhibitions with a guide, as well as fun prompt cards if you’d prefer to explore on your own or with a friend. All activities are optional.
All activities are optional. Fun is also optional but hard to avoid! If you don’t like fun, this is definitely not an event for you.
Drop by any time between 6:00-9:00 pm.
This event is part of Stonecroft Semester: The Art of Negotiating Visibility. More info here.
